Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: October 2026

The short version: We may earn a commission from qualifying purchases, at no extra cost to you.

What this means

Optaria participates in affiliate marketing programs with various retailers. When you click a product link on our site — for example, a "Check Price" button — and make a purchase, the retailer may pay us a commission. You pay exactly the same price either way; the commission comes out of the retailer's margin, not your pocket.

How this affects our content

It doesn't influence our rankings. Our editors choose recommended products on merit — build quality, value, and genuine user satisfaction. Affiliate relationships are handled separately from editorial decisions, and no brand can pay for placement in our guides or "best" lists.

We also disclose affiliate relationships clearly: every buying guide carries an affiliate disclosure notice, and all affiliate links use proper rel="nofollow sponsored" markup as search engines require.

Why we use affiliate links

Affiliate commissions fund Optaria's independent editorial work. They let us keep all guides free to read, without paywalls and without intrusive advertising. If you find our guides useful, using our links is the best way to support us — thank you.

Questions

If anything about our affiliate relationships is unclear, please contact us. Transparency isn't a legal checkbox for us; it's the foundation the whole site is built on.
